Travelers between Dubai and Sri Lanka, and beyond, have a new set of options thanks to a recently announced interline agreement between flydubai and SriLankan Airlines. Starting September 9, 2024, this collaboration offers enhanced travel opportunities with streamlined services and expanded destinations.
Under the new agreement, passengers on flydubai will gain access to 16 additional destinations on SriLankan Airlines’ network, which includes prominent cities across Southern and East Asia, the Middle East, and Australia. Notable destinations in SriLankan’s network include Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, and Tokyo.
Conversely, SriLankan Airlines passengers can now reach over 30 destinations through flydubai’s extensive route network. This includes popular vacation spots such as Bucharest, Krakow, Mombasa, Naples, Tashkent, and Zanzibar, extending across Africa, Central Asia, Central and Southeast Europe, and the Middle East.
The interline agreement simplifies the travel experience with features such as single-ticket itineraries, through-checked baggage, and coordinated flight schedules. This means passengers can enjoy a more seamless journey with fewer hassles and better connectivity.
Bookings for these interline flights are now available. Travelers can secure their tickets through the airlines’ official websites, www.flydubai.com and www.srilankan.com, or through various travel agents and online travel agencies.
